About LingVert

LingVert digitises scanned documents — forms, marksheets, certificates, invoices, contracts, and multi-page reports — into editable Microsoft Word (DOCX) and PDF files. Under the hood, we combine Google Cloud Vision OCR with large language models (Google Gemini and OpenAI's GPT family) to read the page, understand its structure, and rebuild it as clean, formatted HTML that is then rendered into a document you can open and edit like any other file.

Millions of important documents — academic records, government forms, legacy business paperwork — exist only as scans or photographs, locked away from search, editing, and reuse. Manually retyping them is slow and error-prone. We set out to build a pipeline good enough at preserving layout, tables, and formatting that re-keying by hand stops being the default option — while being upfront that automated reconstruction, however good, is not the same as the original.

We never use your documents to train AI models, and we never sell your data. Files are stored on AWS infrastructure in India, encrypted in transit, and deletable on request. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
